It is an easy way to have certain keywords such as webhost link to affiliate links. It is also useful to create links to specific keywords, which could help your SEO.

Many use and love this plugin. Then you have another site saying SEO Smart Links is the WordPress Plugin Which Can Get You Penalized by Google. One of the biggest issue it found was not limiting the links on a page. This also makes sense. Use the plugin wisely. I believe it can be a great tool if you don’t overdo it.
